OISY Makes XRP Ledger Functions Standard in Every Account

OISY stated on Oct. 5, 2026 that native XRP became available to every user of its wallet. The update added direct support for holding, sending and swapping on the XRP Ledger network.

Direct functions now live
Release notes list three core actions for native XRP. Holders can store the asset, move it to other addresses and exchange it within the wallet. Each action runs on the XRP Ledger network without leaving the OISY interface.
Sending XRP triggers a warning if a destination tag is missing. The send screen also lists recently used addresses and blocks a second send until the first transaction clears. These controls reduce common errors during transfers.
Address and history tools
XRP addresses can be saved to the contacts list for repeated use. Transaction history loads older entries as the user scrolls down. A dedicated token details view shows XRP-specific information separate from other assets.
Custom tokens issued on the XRP Ledger remain unsupported at this stage. Only the native asset receives the full set of hold, send and swap options described in the notes.
Key control and platform details
OISY states that no single party holds a complete private key. Key pieces sit across a network and combine only when a signature is required. The wallet itself runs as open source code inside a standard browser.
The wallet operates on the Internet Computer. That base layer hosts the multichain support already mentioned. Users access the same interface whether they work with Bitcoin, XRP, Solana or Ethereum.
What holders receive
Every account now carries the ability to manage native XRP without additional setup. The feature set covers the basic ownership tasks of storage, transfer and exchange. Address management and transaction visibility come built in through the contacts and history views.
The Oct. 5, 2026 date marks the point when these tools reached the full user base. Earlier notes separate the network addition from the go-live announcement. Both dates stand as distinct records in the release timeline.
